May Madness

We know we missed last month…we apologise to everyone but due to a mix of technical issues and family circumstances April was a tough month for all the team here. We would like to thank all those who supported us over the past weeks and will be forever grateful to our customers for being so understanding through what has been a very difficult month.

Firstly, a quick update on last month. The shop continues to grow, going from strength to strength and many of you keep popping back to see what has changed or to get that perfect present so a huge thank you from all of us here at Beautifully Gifted. We can't wait for summer and a chance to meet all the new faces that are regular fruit pickers, be assured we will be picking plenty too!

As some of you may know or you may have visited, White House Farm hosted a big Easter Extravaganza alongside GroWild and of course the rest of the units which also included the monthly Farmers Market. There were tractor rides, crafts, local food and a Mad Hatters Tea Party café. Everyone loved the BBQ featuring the Butcher's favourite sausages and of course meeting the Mad Hatter, Alice and the White Rabbit - plus a little chocolate surprise!

Now for May…as we write this blog post the sun is shining and it’s a whopping 17 degrees which by British standards is practically a heat wave - even our hare is making the most! I wasn’t going to say it but I think summer may actually be here…hopefully I haven't just jinxed it all!

Anyway, summer means longer nights spent in the garden which brings us on to this month's plant fair at White House Farm, this Saturday 9-3. Available will be everything you need to get your garden into tip top condition, from a range shrubs, flowers and herbs to getting that vegetable patch up and running to the decoration for that perfect finishing touch. BBC Radio Norfolk will also be here so watch out for your 10 minutes of fame!

Now of course we will leave the plants to the amazing florist Amber Rose but we at Beautifully Gifted will still be getting involved in all the plant and garden mania. All new stock arrived last week, on a pallet in the middle of the car park much to the dismay of the farmer who sent an immediate message with photo evidence of a 'big delivery'!.18448000_1580325248727827_2130330601_n

Many of the items you will not have seen before here at Beautifully Gifted, but we strive to  bring you a variety of new and different products and these are sure to fit the bill.

Brand new is our selection of lanterns. 4514[1]With a candle inside these will light up your evenings in the garden so you don’t have to miss a moment of the day. The different designs mean you can mix and match or find the perfect style for your garden.

Or if you looking for something more decorative we have some stone rabbits and hares which will bring that little extra character to any green space. These cute little ones are especially perfect if you don’t get that much wildlife in the garden or you want to fill a bare bit of decking.  You can see one of these little fellows in the photo above.

Lastly we can also help with the practical too, with tins of twine starting from £2.50, baskets, wine carriers and herb pots too. And for when the evening getts a bit chilly our gorgeous throws will keep you warm.

For a chance to check out the new collection make sure you come along to the plant fair this Saturday at White House Farm or pop to the shop whenever you are passing. In the meantime, don’t get too burnt in this sunshine and we will be back next month for a special holiday issue!
